Green or rose BTA

If you try to feed it silversides or something bigger like that, you should cut them up in smaller pieces. No bigger than a pea normally.

Aquarists that have had anemones spit food back out probably fed too large of pieces. It is common for anemones to take in food that is too large and then spit it out.

I wouldn't say its common. Anemones are opportunistic feeders so ususally whatever they can catch, is whats going down the hole and will not come back out until its digested. Unless the piece of food that they are eating is to big in proportion, then they will reject it.

It might be the frozen food that I am using I bought it from PTF :). I taw it and wait till it gets to the room temp then cut the cube into half and gave one half to the BTA. It tooks it and then 1 or 2 hours later it trows it out almost untouched. I don't know if it does not like it or what. I will buy some silversides today and try that.

Do you guys cut the head and tail off or feed that too?

Thanks.
