Does anyone have any of this lettuce? I would like to get some to put in my fuge that will be housing sea horses.

I have some in a very young (3 weeks) tank. It's doing great! Grows really fast under bright light. Pods love it and seahorses love pods, right? Go for it!

I had some trouble finding online venders who had any in stock, but I found it.

You can feed herbivorous fish with it too.

If I may ask, where did you find it? Locally? I'm in Golden, CO... Can't find it anywhere reputable online.

Howdy neighbor! I have a pretty good list of online venders I've used over the years, and only one of them had ulva in stock - Blue Zoo Aquatics. Now that I've had it for a couple weeks, I find it hard to believe so many venders were out of stock. It grows insanely fast. I had singled it out, along with chaeto, as the best fuge macro, for nutrient export and pod habitat. I've never seen it in any shops here in Boulder.

This was the first time I've bought from Blue Zoo. They're not the cheapest vender, but they have quality stuff. I was also able to negotiate shipping down from overnight to 3 day, so that helped. They're good people!

Anyway, I bet other venders have it in stock by now. Google sea luttuce or ulva, and it should turn up. Good luck!

They have been OOS on Ulva for quite some time now too... I work with them frequently.. In fact I have an order that should be arriving on Wednesday :)

The owner Russ is great. It sounds like in 2 weeks there should be a decent increase in his instock % as hes going to be doing some diving beginning the week of the 26th.

Hopefully he finds some ulva that week cause I could use some as well!

Thanks for the leads. I'll be watching Blue Zoo. Looks like they're out now too. I've never ordered from live-plants but I sure like their site and visit it frequently.

It must be out of season. I think it can fluctuate with rainfall (runoff) amounts. It just seems that people who sell it would have no trouble at all maintaining a growing source of it. weird…
