Green Serpent Sea Star

Hello guys,
I got a nice Serpent Sea Star (Ophioderma appressum) for my 75 gal tank. I currently have 10 Nass snails and 7 hermit. and 2 cleaner shrimp. I have a 2inch sand bed and 80lbs of live rock.

I was wondering if you could give me some tips about taking care of the star?

would he/she climb out of the tank?

any thoughts would be appreciated

is that a smooth one, or one with the yellow spines on it?


I dubbed the one I got, which had the spines, "green terror" right before I took it back to the LFS. If it's one of the spiny ones, it will take care of itself just fine. as in jump your fish at night one-by-one

No, mine have never crawled out of tanks. I just try to feed them a small piece of krill once or twice a week.
