Green Striped Mushroom Fragging ?

How long will it take for a mushroom to take hold of the live rock.

Ok great thanks. Now another question, what happens when the fragged shroom is covered by a thick brown slime. And under all the slime is a good looking shroom about half the size I started with.

I've had orange and red mushrooms attach within a day or two. I had a bad slime problem with one that I tried holding in place with a rubberband. Took it off and put the mushroom in a dish with some rubble and covered it with netting so the critters wouldn't bother it and it attached right away. How are you trying to attach it? Do you have any flow going across it? You probably don't want a lot but enough to move the slime.

I am using netting over the mushroom on a chunk of live rock. The live rock has a big crater in it so it is like netting them over a dish with rubble in it. I do have a little flow and I noticed the slime is going away and the shrooms are looking good.
