Green Torch and Lavender Torch Compatibility

I'm in the process of rearranging pieces in my 34 gallon tank and was wondering if it was okay to put 2 torches, one green and one lavender together. Initially I thought the 2 of them combined will look stunning, but on second thought I wasn't sure if they'd get along literally touching right next to each other. The green torch has a very long extension and tends to grow length wise while the lavender is shorter and tends to grow width wise (pics below) so I'm not sure if they're the same species.

Any insight or experience on this would be greatly appreciated.

In my experience members of Euphylia family seem to be ok together even though they sting the heck out of anything else that gets in their reach. Having said that, I have never had 2 torches together so can't speak specifically to them.

I have a torch, hammer, and frogspawn (2 varities of frog and hammers) all very close to one another. The torch literally touches all of them with no issues at all.

As Dave said above though, let them touch anything else, and their wrath will be noted. My torch is messing up a leather coral right now.

I have used my torch to keep anthelia at bay by simply moving it over to block its advance and thin it out. Great natural "weed" control

I have 2 different torches together with a branching hammer and a wall hammer and a frogspawn. They all touch and no issues. Knock on wood

Thanks for the replies. You definitely need to give torches a pretty big berth. Unfortunately I'm running out of real estate in my 34 gallon so I'm trying to rearrange pieces to create more room to fuel my strong compulsion to keep buying frags.

I'll give it a try and see what happens. I've mixed various acan lord colonies together with no issues but I know they're all the same species, torches I'm not so sure.

I'll come back with some observations, I'm expecting to see results pretty quickly.

So far so good. It's been 2 days since I combined the green and lavender torches together and they look like they're getting along fine. I think that if any adverse reactions were to happen I would see the results by now, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
