I am not asking for breeding infoamation at this point.
I have an established 55gal tank with protien skimmer, canister filter, live rock, live sand and two power heads, snails, crabs, 2 Brittle Starfish, Humu Humu Triger(juvinile), Orange Stripe Dwarf Angel,
I have had my Dottyback(aka Green Wolf Eel) for 6 weeks now. When I first got him he was a lil dark then within in two days he was a nice green. He is a juvinile about 9inches long. He was being fed live feeder goldfish and I'm doing my best to wein him off this. Last week I introduced an adult Rainbow Wrase whic was agressive towards the trigger, and the dottyback. I removed the wrase from the tank. Four days later I introduced a Dwarf Angel. Now two days after that my dottyback has been so dark in color. I check the water quality every other day and it is exelent. He eats regulary and is active.
I am concerned that he is so very dark (almost black). Is there a reason for this? And is this a reason for concern?
