I have recently acquired a beautiful green wolf eel. The only bad thing is that I wasn't told he had 2 lesions, one on each side of his tail about 1/2" from his end. They are both sort of dark, and the skin appear eroded. At the perimeter is a whitish grey substance. From what I can tell, it's likely fungal.
I've had fungus issues with freshwater fish, but never marine. What are some things I should look for? He's the only fish in his tank, along with 2 mushroom corals (which I can easily remove if treatment warrants)
All help much appreciated. I'll try and post images once my batteries for my camera are charged up.
