Green Wrasse compatability

Any thoughts on a green wrasse for a reef tank? I have read mixed reviews. Vivid says yes, live aquaria says no. Any thoughts?

My green wrasse is very aggressive and eats just about everything that falls into my tank. Hermit crabs were gone within a day...

I think if you want a halichoeres wrasse, you have to be willing to accept this as a possibility. They won't all do this, but the possibility will always be there.

I saw one in a store and was looking into a purchase for the new tank. Are there any reef safe wrasses that have that color??

Cirrhilabrus and Paracheilinus species are much more "reef safe".

your corals will be safe your inverts more then likely will not be but you can try and coach them with clams on the half shell and things of that nature.
