Greenish Algae ID

This popped up about three days ago. It's the first algae ive had on a rock. I always had a little on the glass but I thought that was a good thing. This however just appeared out of nowhere, I was curious if anyone knew what it was and if it bad. I placed my Mexican Turbo Snail on it and it seems as it is getting devoured.

I have my lights turn on at 6:15 AM and go off at 6:00 PM, then nights lights (regular blue LEDs at 10% power) from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. I mentioning to this because the algae is at the highest part of the tank so I'm assuming its related.

ALSO!
I do see the Aiptasia in the bottom picture and im currently treating it

Looks like hair algae. Is this a new tank?

The tank has been established for around 8 months. It had cyanobacteria outbreak the first two months, but that's long gone.

Still looks like green hair algae. Likely culprits are light too long, over feeding. Check your nitrates. If they're high, probably over feeding. If they're low(er) probably too much light or not enough to digest the extra nutrients.

I've done a bunch of research and I think its Diatomaceous Algae. It has the same color, and appearance. I'm going to turn the tanks lights off for three days and hope it helps. From what I read, it isn't easy to get rid of.

Update:
This is the third day of lights off, no large strands remain but it still looks like it's on the rock. The only time I turn the lights on is to wake up the fish so I can drop some food in for them.
