Hello WTMRAC Members,

I am a New Member who learned of the group from Cody (Thanks Codeman00). I live in the Memphis area and look forward to meeting the gang and connecting with local Memphians.

I am VERY NEW to the hobby and surf RC and other sites frequently in search of knowledge! Be warned, I may attempt to "pick your brains" often.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to make this month's meeting in Jackson, but hopefully, I will be able to attend next month's meeting here in Memphis.

SNAKEMANVET: Thanks again for adopting Booger. I am relieved that he found a happy home and did not meet my toilet bowl. I hope he is behaving himself and not keeping you awake with his loud clawing clicking! If you, sorry no returns accepted!!!

WILLEM: As my hubby with tell you, I have SPENT some dough!!! (After much research of course.) I bought a 170gal acrylic Bowfront with maple canopy and stand (we will be able to stop eating beans and rice in another year or so....). Add to that the ASM G2 protein skimmer, 4 SunPaq PC units (about 322Watts; had to go this route due to a SHALLOW canopy design....sucked!), 100 gal/day RO unit, 2-Seio M820 powerheads and 1-M620 for my mixing vats (2-Square 40gal Rubbermaid Food Storage bins on dollies). Yes, my husband is convinced that I am insane! To top all of that, I took delivery of my tank in early Dec 05 and I still DO NOT OWN ONE FISH!!! (Thanks to Booger the mantis and his red mantis side-kick). Thanks to Snakemanvet, that will all change, as soon as Jason (Kermits) gets in his next batch of Clown fish! (I guess I better get on with these water changes and get my nitrates down to zero! What are your thoughts...or anyone else's...about the several hundred bioballs that are in my sump. They came with my "Marine ready package" . I have read that they may contribute to elevated nitrate levels. I am also uncertain as to how I would configure my current wet/dry into a refugium-type filtering system. Should I worry about this now since Jason tells me it will be a few weeks before he has Clown fish available?
