Ground probe and heater

Does anyone know where i could get one local...how much?

So i bought a finnex 300W heater but their is a ground on the plug, which won't work with my dual stage chiller. Not sure why Prime didn't add that feature...jeez.

I would still like to use it by using a 3 prong to a 2 prong outlet converter, but I will be losing the grounding feature on the heater...Would a ground probe fix this?

Do i really need the ground on the heater? All my heaters i have owned before never had one...

I plan to get one for safety anyways but would be grateful for any advice as the internet seems limited on this subject....

what year was your house built a lot of houses in this area were built befor grounding code, you could have outlets with third prong and be completely useles if the home isn'
t grounded.

I used a Finnex heater hooked to my chiller controller for a long time with the 3 to 2 converter with no issues. My house was built in 1957 and the wiring is crap. Most of my house still has the old clothe covered wire, so i'm sure it's not even close to being up to code.
