I don't know what they would look like when they are done. I was interested in seeing some pictures or something. Have you made these before?

Yep. I bought a SunTunnel from HD and tried 1. It came out pretty good. This hammertone is cheaper than the SunTunnel tho.
Here's the mini I made.

Wow, that looks great, I didn't know you could do that without serious equipment. Is it just a matter of cutting the right shapes and having something to bend and rivet it correctly?

It really wasn't that hard. It was the 1st time I ever used a rivet gun. I didn't even know how to use it. I pulled the handle together and nothing happened. I didn't know I had to keep pumping it...lol. Obviously, this was my 1st ever attempt with sheet metal. I made the bends basically by sandwiching the pieces between 2 pieces of metal plate and bending by hand.
What I didn't like about the SunTunnel is it is round and you can't get it perfectly flat.

Here's a few pics.

i could go for a few,how would you work this?are you building them?is this going to be a group project?i this this could be a great demo at a swap or a local meeting.

OK, it looks like I'm going to be ordering the sheets on Monday. I need 1 1/2 sheets, 1/2 for x2, 1/2 for furman and 1 sheet for bm. That leaves 1/2 sheet left, and if no one wants it, I'll keep it.
It comes out to $18.75 for a 1/2 sheet or $37.50 for a whole sheet. I can either bring them to the swap or you can come to Nanticoke and pick them up.

Dunno...lol. I just wanted to get some ppl to go in on buying the sheets. I have the template and can trace the outline on the sheets, but I'm no pro at sheet metal work and wouldn't want to ruin someone's sheet. It would be a good demo I think. Maybe the club could buy a 1/2 sheet and we can make 1 for a demo and then give it away in a raffle or something. This is only the reflector tho and it still needs the mogul base.
It would be a cool group project for a bunch of ppl to get together and work on, but since the club doesn't have meetings besides the swaps, it would have to be something we setup and that might be tuff. I'm in Nanticoke and x2 is in Pittston so we are close, but furman is in Williamsport and bm in Bethlehem, but I'm open for suggestions.

hey i'll take the last half sheet i can use 3 reflectors,if you live near the wilkes barre area that's not to far of a drive.it would be great if you could include a template.
how/when would you like to receive payment

OK Brad, you got 1 1/2 sheets. You're welcome to come pick them up at my house. I'm in Nanticoke - 18634. It's probably a little over an hr from Bethlehem. I can trace the template on the sheets or trace it to a piece of construction paper.
I'll pay for them now and when you guys get them you can pay me.

I ordered the hammertone today. I should have it by the weekend.

I also called my local electric supply (Freidman Electric) and asked about mogul sockets. They have them, but quoted me $24 each! Not sure what they quoted me, but I promptly ordered 3 from HelloLights for $5.95 each, for a total of $24.45 shipped.

How do you guys want your pieces? You can pick them up here or I can bring them to the swap.
