Group Buy: Inland DFS-100 Wet Band-Saw

I am trying to arrange a group buy for the DFS-100 Reefkeepers wet band-saw. The purpose of this thread is to find out who else is interested in participating an the group buy. Please post ONLY if you are interested in joining.

We do not have an exact price as of yet. They retail for $269.95 so I am hoping to knock some bucks of that price.

Reefkeepers DFS-100 -
This is very similar to the original DB-100, but is made specifically for fragging corals. It does not void the warranty when used with saltwater.

DFS-100 ReefKeeperâ„¢ Saw

Features:

Made specifically for fragging corals. Use on stony corals, soft corals, and live rock.
The stainless steel diamond coated blade won't contaminate your tank with copper.
Inexpensive, replaceable BladeSertâ„¢ blade guides make the most intricate cuts simple.
Sturdy Thermoplastic work table won't corrode.
Drain channels funnel coolant into the internal drain system for a clean, clear view while sawing.
The upper blade guide is adjustable for varying material thickness.
The spring-loaded tension system, molded into the frame, insures proper wheel alignment, simple blade setup, and perfect tracking hour after hour, and enhances blade life.
The motor is permanent magnet, high torque, with built in speed control.
The frame, cover, and water reservoir are molded entirely from structural grade thermoplastic making it corrosion resistant, extremely lightweight, portable, and easy to handle.
All frame and interior support walls are extra thick for maximum strength and durability. It's rigid and quiet

Please post if interested, and the number of saws you will be wanting to purchase if more than 1.

Thanks!!!

I have seen them go for 239.99, but that is only for the DB-100 which once used with any type of saltwater or coral, will void warranty. The DFS-100 has a 90day warranty, and is specifically designed for fragging.

Count me in if the price is right:

Does this saw have a resovoir that feeds water to the blade or a cup on top that syphons water? Does it have a basin in the botom to catch the water? If yes to these questions you can add me to the group buy unless I get lucky at the SCRK raffle:)

It has a holding container that attatches to the top/back that is gravity fed. A hose can be connected to the bottom drain hole, so that it can drain into a bucket, etc...

If there is a "?" next to your name, it is unconfirmed. Please let me know if you are in for sure. Thanks.

Again, this is if we get a price everyone is happy with.

We will demo these saws at the MAX show this weekend. You will also have hands on to see what it can do.

OMG!!! I just used one at MAX. I want one even more bad than before! The Inland rep. let me cut som rock with it, and it was like cutting butter. The blade manuever's so easily where you want it! I was cutting all different directions making VERY tight turns as if I was cutting out a couple polyps of a zoa/paly colony, and I was very impressed with the results. I just let the blade do all the work and just slowly fed the rock into the blade. Very cool tool! I can't believe I could be so excited about a freaking bandsaw, but I am!

Oh Santa, please just let me win the Inland bandsaw at the next SCRK raffle! I've been a good boy and I swear I'll study hard and do all my chore's. I'll leave you extra milk and cookies on the mantle this year. Thanks! :spin2: :spin1:
