I read the sticky about group buys above and don't think this violates the rule, but if it does please let me know and I'll have the mods delete this post. I'm not trying to get banned from the site
I am getting ready to order 3-5 custom LEDs from Evergrow. I am buying the D120 custom layout model and they are normally $180. They have a x-mas sale going on and they are $165. If we can get together an order of 12 then they would only be $135 each. I have no monetary/commercial interest in this sale. I just want to hit that price break at 12 units.
These lights are good bang for your buck, but are pretty much no frills. They do dim but it is via a rheostat on the unit, so no sunrise/sunset. They don't work with Apex. There are two channels, so I have my actinics come on, then two hours later the whites. I have two over a 75G tank and they are keeping my SPS frags on the bottom of the tank growing, so they definitely are legit.
Here is a thread on these lights, I posted up an image of the layout I'll be ordering (post 1192). I'm thinking to get the discount we'll have to use the same template. I have the RB/10K Whites now and have had excellent growth, but wanted to add in some other spectrum blues/violets and some warmer whites for my viewing preferences. I would guess this would look around 12K to 15K:
