Group buy on food

Hey I'm looking to make my own food flat packs or cubes. Any one interested in getting bulk food and making either home made cubes or flat packs. Things I was looking at was brine, mysis, nori, rotifers things like that. I'm tired of buying food $6 at a time

i buy a bunch of the packs... brine, mysis, nutramar ova, oyster, emerald dream, , marine cuisine and just mix them all together and put them back into the blister packs and freeze. However my fish love reef caviar the most!

Would be willing to make up some carnivore packs for us, too. We could hit the Oriental market and load up on mussels, shrimp, mollusk, fish, nori, etc.. blend it up and make some 1-quart ziploc freezer packs.

For what it's worth I've tried making my own food and I just never get it quite right. Either too fine, not binded well enough, etc. If you are making it for a reef to feed coral then I can see wanting little pieces in there. But for my FOWLR I order a few 40 oz flat packs of PE Frozen, a couple packs of rogers food, a few other smaller packs as I see fit. On top of that I daily feed chopped shrimp, scallop, or clam. All my fish are fat and growing well.

With all that said if you make up a good batch I may buy some depending on how it is bound etc.

I make my own already, a large freezer bag lasts me about 3 months. I see what Edmeans about the size but in an SPS reef with lots of small fish it works pretty well without any kind of binder. I find if you use a good amount of scallop it thickens it up pretty good and picky eaters like butterflies love it.
