I currently have a pair of false percs and am in the prosscess of remove a pair of orange skunks and a single pink skunks. i had three pairs for 3 years until i moved and lost the male pink. after that the oranges started picking on the pink so i decided to remove the oranges and the pik and try either more percs if they would group up with one dominant female or try a pair of black if they wont.

so will a female take several males in a group or just as a pair?

Hello,
My understanding of a normal clownfish family structure would be a dominant female and her male mate, and a few sexually immature juveniles. You would probably be best adding a few juvies and see if they can join the family, or just get another pair.

in a 150 gallon you could make a group work, although I am willing to bet that they will pair off and then divide the tank in to "territories" and not associate very much with each other.
would be interesting to see how they work out, but in answer yes. with a tank your size a group of say 5-6 would be ok. the chances of keeping them all together would be best with a large host.

Disagree.

It's best not to go with more than one pair in a tank of that size. Even percula clowns tend to have fairly sprawling territories and fish outside of the pair are often eventually killed off. You may have success, you may not, but IMO it's not a good risk to take.

I agree with Slakker. I tried to add a pair of b/w clowns with my false percs. It lasted about a day before i had to remove the blacks. I wouldnt try it again, what a pain to get them out.
