Growing cheato

So this will be my first time attempting to grow cheato in my biocube 14. Might be a dumb question but does anyone know if these lights will grow the cheato, it's the true lumen 3 led. I have 3 of them and each one is 0.25 watts. I would just put the cheato in the 2nd chamber of the biocube just about 2 1/2 inches worth of it. The picture below is the way I have the lights set up on the back of the biocube. Can't really go with a bigger light just due to the space behind the biocube I have to work with.

Why do you want to grow chaeto in a 14 gallon? Not sure its worth the effort. That said, for that tank can't beat one of those spiral bulbs. You can house them in a utility box so you don't get all the light spill. Lots of threads on that DIY on the other "small tank forum".

Just have a nitrate problem so I'm trying to fix it

any light will grow it. 5000k is the best spectrum

I used 1 par 38 bulb from home depot for 11 dollars for about a year and it worked great, as long as you have po4 it will grow.
