hey guys i've read up on my emerald crab and mine is heathy,he eats and eats and anytime i put pellets in there he goes after them though in the places i read it said he/she needs algae to have a nice green color, which mine does not and it said if he/she doesnt have the algae it eats then i should use dry seaweed...... 1 i dont know why if he needs algae he isnt fine when i have tons of coraline and greem algae that my urchin loves, even some hair algae i have to get rid of lol.....2 if i can buy this seaweed, cant i just try to grow it in my fuge?........ 3 since we are talking bout algae and i have some hair algae in my tank and its popping up little by little then what kind of turbos are best for the job? remember i only have a 55g tank and i know some get huge, was looking also into buying some phosban or a product like that because since i dont use rodi water im sure my phos is high.....thanks guys

Many grocery stores will carry it. Check in the Asian foods section. They look like thin dark green slips of paper. If you have nay Tangs they will certainly go for it as well.

$1.99 at publix in Smyrna. the wifey picked me up 2 packs with 5 sheets in each packet.

not a single grocery store in Winchester carries it!

awesome ill try that....thanks guys,i thought sean had told me that too but i forgot,ya guys can say guys like me money and time lol

a few crabs will not keep up with a tank that gets loaded too fast. move your powerheads around such that they blow on various areas of your relatively new live rock. from my experience many nuisance alga do not like the extra water flow whereas the coraline does and seems to spread faster. it's a win-win.

just bought some nori tonight at walmart,i put a little bit in the tank, like 1/25 of a sheet and my peppermint smelled it right away and started eating off it,it was funnier when here came my tanks bully the emerald and pushed him aside and took the while sheet out the rock it was under and ran to the back of the tank with it lol thanks guys for the info, maybe this will help his color :D
