Growout Questions

I have two hatches that have both gone past morph, they are 8 days apart. Now that they are all morphed and past 10 days can I combine them for growout, there's only one from the previous hatch that made it. But 10 from the current one, I'm running out of room, but we have a 10 gallon with the 1 guy and a 5 with the 10 :wildone:

But can I safely combine them?

I'm in new territory now, I'm starting to have ammonia troubles with the small tank, which is partly because of the size...

Just trying to figure out my options...

False Percula's, I am flat out of space. I have to build a stand in the garage to keep the fry tanks, but that's going to take some time. This seems to be a common issue

I've got them converting to flake, weaning off rots and BBS and they should be fully converted by Monday at this rate.

Go Ahead and combine them, I have had no problem , at one time I had 274 B&W 30 and 60day old in one 10gal tank for 3months, I just had an air diffuser and a small HOB,, I think the main reason I had success with all them ( I lost only one out of those batches) is my 50percent water change every other day

Ok thanks, I'm running a sponge filter for now. Daily vacuuming and water changes, all are now converted over to BBS and regular food and I'm letting the BBS slowly die out.

I'm working out where to put the tanks right now, I can use the garage. It's insulated but no HVAC so it gets around 84 in the heat of summer, and around 50 or lower in January. So that's an issue, but I could build a custom stand. The other option is to take over part of my office area. Maybe do metal shelves (they would have to look nice), and hook it all up there...

Still not sure, either way I will need to create a large sump, with a UV filter, skimmer and other pieces and plumb them all in. I have two LFS's who are both pining for locally raised clowns But we aren't doing this for money (it's a big money pit so far), but because we love the clowns and enjoy the challenge of the babies...

Hey Guys, Sorry to jump in but does any one have pictures of grow out systems or point me in the right direction please? can't get any answers from uk forum i'm on.

Early days yet, but looking for ideas for simple set ups and what type of filter, not wanting to set up a sump yet.
