My fiance suprised me with a purple firefish about 2 weeks ago. When I got it I noticed there was a small cut / growth / parasite on the side of it's mouth and didn't pay much attention to it. Since then I got my new (larger) tank up and running and added the firefish to the tank. I haven't seen much of the firefish after I added him... only occassionally during feeding time. But I noticed that whatever is on his lip has gotten larger and is almost all the way across.
I'll try to snap a pic if I can get him to come out for a bit. He's eating fine but is overly shy. Just wondering if there are any ideas of what it could be. Thank you!
