Growth difference between 10K and 20K MH?

Hey guys,
I am looking for studies that have been done to show the different growth rates of coral depending on the lighting (specifically MH).

How much difference is there between 10K and 20K on SPS growth?

from what I know, 10ks inhibit faster growth at the expense of color while 20k has medium growth and more color. I have 10ks that I am running because all my corals are young, but I have some 12k or 14k that I will switch to once everything is bigger

I use 15K Iwasakis(175 watt) and the growth has been amazing. Under 20K XMs the growth was very slow and 10K XMs were closer to the 15K growth. When I upgrade tanks I will use 250 watt 14K DE Phoenix bulbs.

I haven't seen any actual studies, only anecdotal stories in support of what bubbles129129 said.

Wow, that is an interesting article. It kind of refutes a lot of the accepted theories about color and growth.
