ok, all my params are at or near NSW...n and p are both undectecable through use of Biopellets.
I was trying to get my Biopellets to work for months...then finally I got them started. and ever since the N and P were down to 0ppm the tank started to grow like crazy. I loved it.
But in the last month, the growth has seemed to slow and/or STOP in some cases. My best guess is that out of my 6 blub ATI, only two were replaced recently...and the other 4 Blue+ bulbs are old. Could it just be that the light has shifted and the PAR is now lacking for growth?
Other events are the addition of a HOB(side for me) fuge that is houseing 12 Banggai fry that are growing out there for a while to take advantage of the DT water. But other than the babies, the tank is the same...just the blubs are getting old. IF this is the reason...then can someone give a brief explanation why my growth would just stop...and not slow, or have any color browning out. The frags all look great still...and have good color and PE, but just haven't grown in the past month.
Thanks in advance...and yes ASAP I will be getting more Blue+ bulbs, but for now I want to know if my tank is experiencing something else as a problem.
On a side note...the non SPS corals all seem to be growing at the same steady pace, this is the main reason I'm asking...LPS and ric growth is still steady, just the SPS seem to have stopped.
Any ideas...?
