Growth on Xenia, Identify, PICS

From what I can tell it is white and does not look like it belongs there, and wondering if I should cut it off.

I dont think so, I have new growth comming off another stem and it doesnt look anything like this. It is getting bigger though.
 
It looks like it might be a piece of the liverock it is on. Your xenia could be moving and as it moves along the rock it might give the illusion that it is something growing! Is it hard or soft?

They deffinately move i have on that moved from the rock he was on to a totally different live rock , took it a few weeks but he moved 6 inches , why it moved i have no idea :confused:
 
Looks like a piece of rock and the xenia is moving thus exposing it. I have a cespitularia that has moved a few inches already. Nothing to worry about.
