I think you should leave it clear and move it out into the middle of the room :D

that is what my girl thinks, but we need a nicer stand built, im thinking steel.

I'm sure I don't need to tell you this, but your girlfriend is never wrong.

And if she is, telling her will end very, very painfully ;)

That's what you think!...keep on trying !

In my quest to get better colors and growth, I think i am going to add a 3rd 250W halide to my tank in front of the reef optix pendants in the center of the tank i could place it almost dead center,.

I have some old aquamedic oceanlight pendants in the garage and i could get a cheap m-80 ballast and run a 10k/14k bulb if i position it right.

the reason i want to do this is so i can switch from the pheonix bulbs to something with more actinic like a helios.

what do you guys think?

Thanks Chris im importing 171 new macro shots i hope some of them turn out good, if they do i will have more pics soon.

i cant wait to see what all the corals look like in 6-8 months.

I like the color tones those phoenix bulbs put out. The pics look a bit dim though...is it the exposure on your camera?

Your pendants look neat and clean- which are they again? They're smaller than I realized.

That Rabbit Fish is killer...how's his personality? Peaceful?

they are the reef optix pendants, the shots look dim because my tank is not evenly lit and it plays tricks on the camera, mostly the back half is lit up and less towards the front.

the rabbit is very peaceful and mostly just lumbers around the tank slowly looking for food.

Mind if I ask where you procured him and how much you paid? He's a beaut!

I got him at Salty Critter near me and IIRC he was 60 something dollars.
