I've never seen a Coris that doesn't sleep in the sand.

I guess it could be possible, but unlikely.

ill give it a lil tupperware hidden behind the rocks, that should make it happy.

I'd be more concerned about the Coris wrasse jumping out than finding a suitable place to sleep. Are you planning on putting a mesh cover over the top to prevent this? I know it doesn't look as nice as a completely open-top tank, but you could easily remove it when guests come over to admire the tank.

I knew when i added the wrasse everyone would worry about it jumping, i think a screen like terrys might work for me, but it would really ruin the open look, i will have to think about it.

i have never had anything covering my old tank and i had a wrasse in my last tank for almost a year, until it died/jumped while i was on vacation and i came home to it gone.

Cool new fish  Black stripe chromis are cool:D When i had mine they would just wander round the tank seperately like the tank clowns

That's what RC is for, so that others can worry for you!

i know.... :)

i need a screen for when im not around watching the tank.

his tank is pretty clear mike i just saw pics in his thread.

I am not supposed to use UV with my fancy rock filtration...

my tank gets clearer by the hour. i think by the weekend i will have some nice crystal clear water.

Just wait... once it clears up it will look like everything is floating in the tank. That's one of the biggest reason I went with acrylic.

I've had one wrasse jump in 9 years and it was on the 4th of July... go figure.

my old tank with hang on everything was all microbubbles this one is 100% clear its amazing 0 microbubbles

i cant wait for the water to clear up.

my wrasse Sandbox 7x3x3.5 ceramic dish.

hope the wrasse finds it

Cool idea with the Wrasse sandbox. I hate to say but i noticed a small aptasia under that leather.

aptasia is nothing to worry about

my last tank was taken over by Mojano tulip anemones that are absolutely horrible.

i think instead of another tang a Copper Banded Butterfly would be a good fish for me to pick up anyway.

Ugh, I hate Majano's. CBB's are a nice fish. Apparently, If you feed the aiptasia the food that the CBB eats then it will go after the food in the aiptasia and eat the aiptasia.

Reeftopia peppermints rock if you decide to go that route.

As far as the wrasse, how could he miss that toilet bowl I mean bowl of sand.

Honestly though, that little bit of sand will be good for the tank. ;)

i took the sand from my 3 year old DSB in my 20l

hide your eyes mike deep sand ahead and it is FILTHY

The only light on this tank is a crusty 2 year old coralife 10k 65w pc
