This is the first time they spawned,should i attempt to move the eggs,& QT them with the GSM's?

Or let it go,& move them without the eggs?

I wanna take a stab at raising them.

I wouldn't do anything with the first couple of spawns, and I wouldn't be surprised if the parents ate them too --- seems that the eggs don't always get fertilized the first 2 spawns. This is nothing to worry about, once they get the hang of it they shouldn't eat them any more.

Here is what I posted the other day to a similar thread;

At this point there isn't much that can be done.

If your friend is really interested in raising the fry they are going to have to set up a rearing tank --- a 5 gal will work --- and raise "rots" to feed the fry. Can try to catch the fry right when they hatch, but that could be difficult. Another way would be be slowly move a ceramic tile close to where they are laying the eggs, and getting them to lay on that. Then remove the tile -- with eggs -- to the rearing tank. Would need an air stone in the rearing tank to simulate the fanning that the parents do.

A really good place to start would be to pick up Joyce Wilkerson's book.

Sure thing.

And to give an idea of the tile, here are a couple of pictures from many many years ago --- back when I had a GSM pair. Think these were one of the first pictures with my first (( crappy )) digital camera, so they kind of suck. :)
