You're from Ramsey? Most people here probably don't know where Ramsey is. My wife's family, the Hoffman's, is from Ramsey. We get back there every so often. We'll be up your way for the annual junk sale in a few weeks. We'll be the ones camping at Ramsey State Park.

I've been going to that auction for close to 20 years now. The only thing I've ever bought were some rabbits.

This year though, I'll be looking at the tractors. We bought a piece of property that could use a good mowing with a bush hog. I'd love to have a small one to just mess around with.

Is the property big enough for deer hunting? :deadhorse:

Technically, yes. The deer actually walk right through my back yard. I've walked out quite a few times at dusk to take out the trash and spooked one of them. A good sized buck and about 3 big does. I think the buck would be a nice 8-pointer, were he not missing half his rack.

It's only 3.5 acres, but a lot of it is wooded and there's a creek at the bottom of the hill. Perfect for a family of deer to bed down in.

But, I'm in the middle of a subdivision, so the deer are more pets than food.
