GSP not opening?? im confused, please help

i have drained the tank completely added tap water all the way up ran it for 30 mins drained moved the tank and set it back up and the gsp on the back wall came back i was trying to kill it

Now how about if you know for a fact one of your critters just won't leave the colony alone? I've found my emerald crab paying extra close attention to the frag and he doesn't leave it alone for maybe a couple hours a day. Will this continue to provoke the GSP from opening up? Should I relocate my crab for the time being?

Old thread I know, but lots of good info here, I have a feeling my decorator crab is hassling my GSP which has no been closed for 3 days, when it was previously beautifully open for 3 weeks in my tank. All other corals in the tank look splendid.

Just checked alk and phos and No3. All stable. Alk is 8.5, zero No3 and phos at .045.
