GSP problem

Well i did a large water change about a week ago and my GSP aren't coming out except for a few minutes in the morning. Everything looks fine water quality ammonia,nitrite,ph and salanity all read perfect. The nitrates are around 10. I've changed there postion in the tank more lighting more flow ect. Anyone have any ideas?

I'ld leave them alone. The more you touch and disturb them, the more they will be stressed out. Just give it a few days and they should come right back out.

Green Star Polyps are nearly indestructible. You could pull them out of the water, leave them in the sun for a week, and then put them back in the tank - and I swear, they'd just about come back from that.

So in short, worry not for your GSP.

Mine will come out all the time, until a turbo walks over them, then it's usally a few days before they completely open up again. I've had mine in some pretty stressful situations and they've always come through for me. Besides, look on the bright side, if they die off this very minute, I could almost guartantee somebody will have some to donate soon enough.

jpitts, are you're greens all different shades? If so, may you be interested in trading? I've got two color variations of green star polyps but would like to collect as many as I can, including the brown/yellow/whites and more greens.

yeah all my star polyps are different. just got my last ones from mymonkey. his are the greenest i have ever seen. kevin ford has some lighter greens that are nice, i also have some medium greens and a brown rock .

Travis, you'll have a permanent spot available in the loop. Just jump in anytime you see something ya like. I just bought some frag discs at this last meeting so i'm going to start working on fragging a few of my corals, like the gsp's and whatnot.
