GSP Strangeness

I've got a large colony of GSP that has been completely closed up for the last few days. Everything else in my tank seems to be completely happy.

Anyone know if there is something in particular that bothers GSP that I should be looking for?

I wouldn't worry about it unless it's been a couple weeks. GSP is known to close for days for unknown reasons. If it doesn't make it, I know where you can get some more.

lol, I'm not overly concerned about it as it's kinda like a weed anyway. I was just concerned that it might be the pre-cursor to something bad happening to the rest of the tank.

Now if only the same thing would start happening to my Kenya Tree infestation.... I can't believe I actually paid money for this stuff. :( :)

My GSP and my Blue Ridge Coral are my "canaries in the coal mine". If the polyps aren't out on them, I know there is a problem with my tank.

Well, I've tested for everything I am capable of testing for and I haven't been able to find any problems.

I guess I'll just have to wait and see if it opens back up...

Well, after being closed for 3 days it's about 1/2 open now... So whatever ticked it off must have cleared up.

Corals are kinda like another wife. For days at a time they seem Really Pi$$ed off and you never know why, then like magic everythings normal again.......it's really just them playing with our minds
