GSP vs anemone

I am considering getting some GSP and putting it beside my gigantea anemone. Has anyone had GSP grow near an anemone? Did the anemone's sting keep the GSP from encroaching on the anemone or did they do well beside each other? I don't want to upset my anemone but would like some coral around it.

i do not own a carpet but i own a few bubbletips and they have one of the most mild sings if not THE most mild sting of the anemones and the stings affect my gsp and is the only thing ive seen kill gsp. soooooo im not sure how it would work with a carpet but i have low hopes

The nem will pretty much always sting what comes near, but some corals seem to be able to tolerate this better than others, and GSP or xenia are the two that come to mind, however both of those can become invasive.

I never owned Xenia for that reason and whatever GSP I had I either sold or gave away.

My bubble tip continuously touches a large group of zoas and neither mind.



Can't speak for your carpet though.

Yeah My BTA's crawl all over all my corals and never had a problem yet, why I stick to BTA in reef tanks.
