Move to an area of more flow. From the photo it looks like there is sand or dirt on it. Blast it clean. Not enough info on your lighting to suggest anything.

you cant kill GSP, just give it some flow and light and dont put in anywhere you dont want it to spread over (same goes with the xenia). good luck.

Don't worry, recently my gasp got knocked over and stayed mostly closed for a week, now they are good

1 single bulb isnt enough to sustain any coral long term. ur issue is more than lighting though. how big is the tank? u said ur water is perfect? what are the numbers? i suggest u read up more on reef keeping before adding corals. there r tons of info simply by googling it.

I have to agree with this. Even though GSP are arguably the easiest and most hardy of all softies they do have minimum requirements. Even if it shows some life in a week or two it is obviously beyond a little agitated. Some nice LEDs for sale on RC forums for some terrific prices (some new) so check that out and see if you can't upgrade a bit. You and your tank will be happier for it.

luck
