I got a neon, green star polyp as me first coral, Do I need to feed/target feed anything, getting mixed answers so far, but i think its pretty much self sustaining IMO:hmm4:
 
As long as you can keep your parameters within reason and provide enough light, they should take off. (very undemanding)

Watch out though... These things can very easily become a nuisance. You might want to keep them isolated from your reef structure. GL.
 
+1 to what cloak said. GSP is known to some hobbyists as a pest with the way it grows along with xenia(tho i've never had much luck with either go figure) Try to keep it on its own rock away from the glass so that it cant spread too far. They dont need to be target fed, but they can be with something like brightwell aquatics microvore or similar product either through full tank dispersal or actual target feeding with a syringe
