guess who bought another new light fixture

Well some more info on the brand of the fixture could help, but I think the reason you don't have any responses is because you may have already burned some bridges...

meh didnt need to cross those rivers, anyhow i believe its the outer orbit setup i have 4 metal legs and 2 braces but i just cant seem to figure out which direction they go and what not, maybe i should post a pic of it . . .

Well sometimes burning one burns others... Just be aware that we are a tight knit group and we like new people. But I would suggest in the future that sort of thing stays private so people don't think bad things...

On most OO fixtures they actually slide into place... With the bow's of the legs pointed outwards from the tank. Additionally you sometimes have to slide bulbs splash guards out to access the groove you slide them into.

ya i have had other fixtures where you slide them in but never seen one like this with the braces and screws for the legs. the fixture is quite heavy thats for sure. i can tell how to replace bulbs and splash guards but ive never been so perplexed from legs before

hrm, all my OO fixtures slip right in.. I guess I'd have to see it, sorry man. I have seen other fixtures where the legs are braced into place with tension screws, but not on an OO.

Perhaps if no one knows you can ring one of the sponsors that carry OO.

Interesting well the screw part is the part that sits on the tank rim, and those are just to keep the fixture from sliding...

From this point of view I don't see what the other pieces are for, and it looks ilke the splash guards for the fluorescents should slide out and leave grooves for the legs to slide in... But its hard to tell from this point of view...
