Sorry for the delay guys, I've been busy this week. I've gotten black bugs and it was a nightmare,
I will be using Interceptor Spectrum to treat my whole system. as Interceptor is no longer being made.. if you can get ahold of interceptor spectrum then use it!
i got the biggest pack possible. which contains 23mg milbemycin oxime and 228mg praziquantel in blue pack.
i took off the air vent for my skimmer but left water flowing through it, and turned off my carbon.
i used a full tablet on the very first dose. nothing went crazy or died. this stuff will certainly kill your crabs! so beware!
THIS IS HALF A TABLET, i forgot to take a picture of a hole tablet.
You can heat it up for 10-15 seconds, this stuff smells bad so beware. then start smashing
after smashing make sure you get all the big chunks
put it into your system.
If you have vortechs turn your power to constant and turn them up enough that the sand starts moving a bit but not to much.
after 6 hours i did a 10g water change and turn, and put the air vent back into the skimmer Note:: you should leave your skimmer on as low as possible because your skimmer will go crazy and overflow.
I replaced my carbon. Note:: you will not have to overdose your carbon, just as much as you use regularly. and left my GFO on.
the next day saw 90% polyp extension.
i waited 5-6 days after and dosed half a tablet and waited again and dose the rest of the tablet,
this is just like the regular interceptor but it contains praziquentel. I've read it kills Red Planaria but i do not know for sure.
i will not stand responsible for any livestock lost. YOU are doing this on your own!
