Guide to ORA Frags?

Wow, mac, is that your 36" long 70...? Looks HUGE. Very nice job aquascaping...! Corals look real healthy too... Congrats...!

thanks for the compliments todd....yeah, this is my only tank, the 36" 70g. i think the 24" width makes it look much larger in pics. my next tank is probably going to be 48x30x24 as i'd like to leave more open space. i love crazy4acros nearly cube, bonsai tree inspired tank with his artistically simple rockwork and all that open space.....i just don't have enough restraint to leave my tank that empty!

i definately need a macro lens though. after trying to take pics of all my ORA corals for justin today i realized i just can't get them in focus when i try zooming on them. i'll send what i do have though, justin.

i have a nikon d60 with an 18-55 and a 55-200 zoom. if anyone knows if it has a macro zoom built in please let me know. i cant find any reference to it in the owners manual....at least i havent yet!

Boy, that's a cotton pickin' mouth full! I like the look too, but will never happen around here. I like to keep corals first and foremost, so every inch has to be utilized...! I mean, in terms of tank real estate, open sandbeds look nice, but Acros look better...!

i hear you todd, i've adopted a compromise by opening up my rockwork quite a bit and having some open sandbed area's. i am sure over time those sandbeds will get covered with clams and corals though! i must say i admire crazy4acros restraint in maintaining such an uncluttered look, its really a piece of art. i'll settle for my sps jungle for now though!

macreefster - that tank is prime. Really exceptional work!

Thank you everyone for the photos. You keep sending them, I'll keep adding them :)
