On Liveaquaria the (Gymnothorax miliaris) is sold as Fire Coral Eel for $199.99, but on etropicals, they are sold as golden tail morays for $60.00. Is the Fire Coral eel and the Golden tail moray the same thing?

RazorBlade,

Thank you for your inquiry. We apologize for any confusion. The Fire Coral Eel on Live Aquaria is the same fish as the Goldentail Moray on eTropicals, as is the Golden Moray Eel on Live Aquaria. The exception is that the Golden Moray is a rare yellow coloration.

The Eel listed on eTropicals is less expensive as they are from the Caribbean, and this is a more direct source for Caribbean species. If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

Chris C.
