Here are some pictures I have been taking of my new hobby. Thanks seahorsesource.com, reefcentral.com, and seahorse.org for everything! :)

It is more than taking off. I had to put some in my reef tank for my tang to eat. I really didn't want him to eat it, but I guess this was impossible. I wanted the prolifera to create a haven for my clowns, but the tang seems to like it a lot.

little babbies! NICE! if you raise these you are aiding in the coservation of ocean born seahorses. congratualtions!!!!

They were born on my birthday! That means you should send them to me ;) . (Not really, i don't have the time or $$ for fry. )

Congrats!

Hi Chris,

I'm in the same boat as you. I didn't have luck at all with the first brood a few weeks ago, and the male is ready to deliver within the next few days.

As I had no luck feeding 4-hour old bbs with the first batch, I've ordered some rotifers from seahorsesource.com to culture. I've also ordered SF Strain bbs eggs just in case I don't have the knack to do the 'rotifer thing'. Hopefully one of the two will work this time.

I'm hoping this time around we both have better luck. Keep me posted :)

Tom
