how do i place my leopard wrasse into a hospital tank to treat for ich? its barebottom and all the other fish will be in there as well while the D.T. is fishless for 2 months. i will use copper to treat the fish. what do you guys do to treat a wrasse for ich?

I'm guessing the issue here is lack of sand, since wrasses aren't particularly sensitive to copper. Perhaps you could keep a small tupperware container filled with sand in the QT for the wrasse. Just toss the sand when you're done.

yeah , sorry for not adding that. yes the sand was the question, will it be ok to treat with copper and keep a container of sand in the hospital tank?

Yes. I don't think it will be much of an issue, but test your copper every now and then in case some gets absorbed by the sand. Just add more copper as needed and obviously, toss the sand when you're done with QT.
