Background:
I just order a 3 gallon Pic-tope from Drfostersmith.com.
Tank
I have been reef keeping for at least 10 -15 years. I decided to get dwarf seahorses cause of the space available and the tank size required. I have a 4 year established reef tank with many many amphipods. My glass looks white speckled early in the morning and late night when moon lights come on. NO HYDROIDS.
I was going to move a small peice of live rock into the tank and use some sand from tank to start it off. I know that the Amphipods will cover the tank in a couple days. I also wanted to seed the tank with two bottles of Tiggerpods/Amphipods.
Would H. zosterae be able to survive on a healthy amphipod population will supplimental feedings of baby brine. Or would it be just as good to stock the tank with one bottle and feed with the other one.
I have the time to dedicate to these little buggers. I just want to ensure there food intake by over populating the tank. Is that a good idea?
