HA and Peroxide

I plan to remove some rock with extensive Hair Algae this weekend and scrape what I can off the overflow. I was going to start dosing peroxide to keep in check until I can get a real skimmer. The peroxide I have is 3% solution. The one I have is not so greta IMO. I am not sure if that is a good idea. I currently run a reactor with GFO and dose vinegar, cal and alk. I was dosing Mag but ran out and need to get more. I keep
mainly LPS and zoas and leathers. I am suppose to get a Cap coral this weekend but heard SPS and peroxide is not goos. Any suggestions / comments appreciated.

I would try other approaches before using hydrogen peroxide on live rock, or at least treat only small portions of the live rock outside the tank. Maybe just harvesting what algae is easy to remove would be enough for the time being.
