I had a 5in corcea clam in my tank for over two years and it just croaked..... its been on the bottom of my 22gal. cube lighted by 6 t5 individual reflectors. anyways it had been in the sandbed of this tank for over 6 months, due to space restiction for the sps. anyways I reaqauscaped the other day and in the process moved the clam up a little over half way in the tank. When i got home thismorning the clam was dead. was moving the clam up into the rockwork the reason it died? (to much light?)

could be, although I dont think so. When you moved it, was it attached by the byssus? If so, how did you move it?
