In my experience those things are like cockroaches, you can't kill them. They should do fine. I had one that got really large and started dropping "babies" all the time so I just got rid of the whole thing and I still find small pieces that fell of and do not sit in direct light that appear to be alive.

can you tell me about the toothpics? I have a toadstool on a frag plug and need to move it to a rock, a bit nervous I haven't done it before.

I used a rubber band for my toadstool, after about a week took off the rubber band and it was attached to the rock. It was squeezing it pretty good too but no ill effects since taking it off.

I used a needle and thread, ran the needle through the frags, then superglued the ends of the thread to frag plugs.

growth on to frag plug.
