had trouble with shrimp

ok I've ALWAYS had trouble keeping shrimp.. Every other invert does JUST FINE, but shrimp always seem to disappear within a few days.

Perhaps I'm not acclimating them properly. Any particular procedures for peppermint shrimp?

What do you have in your tank (fish, corals, crabs, inverts). Any possibility that they jumped out, rode the good ol' plumbing slide to a sump or got caught in a powerhead?
