Haddoni and doxy

So I have a small haddoni incoming tomorrow and my shipment of cipro is somewhere in usps limbo.. Would doxycycline be a good alternative? I've used to it bring back toasted BTAs no problem but I am a little worries about the carpet.thank you carpet gurus!

Doxycycline would be better than nothing. I would use 100 mg per 10 gal and do water change the same as Cipro.
