Haddoni and BTA can you keep both in the same 110 gal tank? I also read not to have 3 clowns yet I see videos of 20+ with multiple anemones. Need advise.

I tried it years ago, and during the whole time the Haddoni would not stay in place -- was running carbon. After I sold off all the BTAs (( and no other changes to the tank )) the Hadodoni stopped moving (( have noticed the same behavior when I tried to mix a Haddoni and an LTA )). For that reason (( plus damage to one of the anemones if they were to touch )) I no longer mix species of anemones.

I have 2 haddoni's with a rbta in a 75. Been together for 6 months. All are eating well and none have moved. In the process of upgrading

There are exceptions to every rule. In those few situations where multiple clowns are kept in the same tank, there are parameters in place that allow it to work under those conditions. That doesn't mean that we can all throw 20 clowns in one tank without issue.

IMHO, it's always risky mixing host anemone species. I do it quite often, and I've ran into problems because of it. If you want a stress free life, and a tank that's easy to care for, just pick one species and stick with it. Just My HO.

i have about a dozen roses in my system with 3 haddonis. the green and the blue have been with me for about almost 10 years ( i originally thought it was 7 yrs, but i did not realize it's been 10 years! because i have them when i moved to this new house and that's how i remember.)

recently i got a red and that's 3 haddonis with 10 roses now that i sold 2. the carpets, if they have room, will expand enormously. i consider myself lucky to have them still thriving.

bta prefer rocks, haddoni prefer sand, so in my case they are never close to each other. for the past 2 years, in my display i only have 2 roses, and the others are in a seprate tank that tied to the main system ~ the reason is i want to keep corals and the roses are stinging them. i am contemplating on selling most of my roses and only keep 2 in the display tank so i can save on electricity.

clowns: i have 2 Allardiis and 4 juv Onyx/true percs in the main display and they never bother each other. i love the Allardiis as they are big and very peacefull, along with that, they are beautifull too so i would strongly recommend them.

i now have a seperate system with 40g and 2 carpets, but that's another story.
