Haddoni is not happy!

I'm not sure what's going on with my blue Haddoni.. He's been doing real well until the last 2 weeksHe moved from his usual spot (foot between a bottom rock and the glass in the sand) then he moved to a spot between 2 rocks above where he was before for most of the week. Today he moved to the other side of the tank and just floated upside down on the sand all afternoon. (still looking quite healthy btw) then he moved up on a rock and stung / got stung by my bubble coral. I moved the bubble and guided him back to the sand but he's not attaching. Its strange. My params are all normal temp is normal. The only changes have been my new Ocellaris are hosting him (they are not rough with him) and I have upgraded my lighting to 2x250w mh from PC's. I have acclimated the tank to the lights. I started at a hour for a few days then to a hour and a half ect. Its been 3 weeks i'm at 5 1/2 hours now. He's never looked better. He seems to love the light. He perks right up when they are on. Obviously something is causing the behaviour... I hope he doesn't go on a rampage tonight and sting the crap out of everything.

My carpets (after split) both moved as close to the light as possible (2x250w, 10k) after I acclimated the tank to the new lights. My guess would be the light. With the PC's he was probable in the best light he could find with those. He may only be moving closer to the new lights.

Bet he finds his spot and loves it.

all metal halides not equal it may not be enough light see sps light comarison pix it goes into par and bulb balast compadibility. what bulb and ballast are you using? mayby if posible suplimant with you old lights untill he gets used to the change.

I am supplimenting with the old pc's. The bulbs are Hamilton 12k and the ballasts are Icecap. Last night he planted his foot at one side on the bottom up against the side glass away from the rocks.. I had to move my bubble coral because he went up there last night and stung the hell out of it. / Got stung by it. We'll see.
