Haddoni likes the rocks

My new haddoni, about 4 inches in diameter was located by me in the sand bed next to a rock. He's decided to move up the rocks. Is that unusual or will some attached to live rock off the sand bed sometimes?

Small haddoni usually like the rock. As they get older they move to the sand. Consider a posting picture. New Gigantea and even Mertensii may look like Haddoni to some people.
