Haddoni Question?

I have had my haddoni for almost 2 weeks now, and sometimes he is happy and looks nice. The thing is he always seems to shrivel up atleast once a day. i have a 75 gal that turns over about 52 times an hour when both powerheads are on. One powerhead is set for a 20 min on 20 min off. The lightiung is 2 175watt MH and 4 110watt vho. My phottperiod is 14 hours actinics and 12 hours MH. There doesnt seem to be any specific time that he will shrivel up so i am having a hard time figuring him out. Water params: 1.026, CAL-450, ALK-7.8, PH- 8.1, Nitrates 0, 78 degrees.

Do time my friend i think if you make it past the first mth w/ no major issues things should look good. Try and keep the flow down for now as it is stil adjusting! What color may i ask?

May I ask where you got it? I purchased a green from DD and it died within a week. They sent me a replacement and it looks bad as well. Another thread here recently lost one from DD as well.

My LFS it just started to melt down after 2 weeeksso i took him out. I have been told that getting a healthy one in the first place is the hardest part. What i am having trouble with is finding out how to tell if it is healthy or not. Mine looked ok at the LFS but it was under some very weak lighting,i figured once it weas under my MH he would be huge and happy.
