Haddoni rearranged the landscape for me.

So my two week old Haddoni didn't think he had enough space. So at first he tunneled into a nearby cave for the day. I had adjusted my power heads a little, I figured he didn't like it.

The next day, to my surprise, he pushed a large supporting rock to give his little apartment more space. So the next morning I woke up with the cave collapsed on top of him. :uhoh3: Lesson learned, they are extremely strong.

So early Friday morning before going to work, I saved his *** and cleared the area.

So the Haddoni was power lifting the rock last night. He was briefly contracting and trying to move the rock right behind him. Based on another thread, should I move the rock or does he like it to help cover the leg? Today, he looks relaxed.

Yes they like borrowing to cover the leg!

So if he stops power lifting the rock leave him, if he continues to try and move the rock give it more space?

Update

So late Sunday night, he looked agitated and upset. Inflating and deflating a bit through the early night. h had eaten a hermit crab earlier, not sure if he had some indigestion. Water parameters steady, 20% water change few days before.

So he decided to move father back into the tank. In the early morning I saw him partially deflated working his way leg deep under the rocks in the back, completely covering and securing it. Glad he's doing ok for now, I have zero access to that area without pulling apart the rock structure. I should have added more sand to that area and gave him a better place to secure his leg, its fairly massive. Don't think they like flow in their "private areas".

Last night, he went back to relaxed and looking normal. Here are some pics buried in the back.

He gets 25% shaded, should that be an issue?
